We have implemented additional protocols to maximize your safety and minimize risk during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
UV light disinfection
UV light kills bacteria and viruses- including Sars-CoV-2.
We are the first dental office in B.C. to install UV lights to disinfect each treatment room between every patient. The UV lights will disinfect both the airspace and surfaces from ceiling to floor. You will be entering into a clean room.
We have installed UV lights in the washroom to disinfect after each use.
We have a UV chamber to disinfect commonly used items in our office such as safety glasses, bib chains, and touchless thermometer.
HEPA air filtration
We have installed True-HEPA air-purifying devices in each treatment room and in the common hallway.
Social distancing
We have implemented social distancing protocols. These include staggering patient appointments, installation of plexiglass shields, installation of barriers between treatment rooms, and escorting patients in one at a time.
Screen Protocol
Enhanced screening of patients and staff. Staff will undergo daily screening for COVID-19 symptoms and temperature measurement. Every patient entering the office will be pre-screened and temperature taken.
Personal protective equipment
Enhanced personal protective equipment (this may include surgical gowns, face shields, scrub caps, and of course mask and gloves), will be worn by our staff when we are delivering treatment by both the doctors and the hygienists.
